Freshman Bryson Tiller led the Jayhawks with 21 points on 8-for-13 shooting while adding 7 rebounds. It marked his first 20-point performance of the season and helped Kansas improve to 16–5. Darryn Peterson chipped in 18 points on an efficient 6-for-8 from the field in just 20 minutes.
For BYU, Richie Saunders delivered a standout performance, posting a season-high 33 points and his third double-double of the year with 10 rebounds. He shot 11-for-19 from the field, including 6-for-14 from beyond the arc, and contributed defensively with 2 steals and a block.
