Cade Cunningham led the Pistons with 29 points on 9-for-19 shooting and 9-for-11 from the free throw line, adding 10 assists to secure his third straight double-double and help Detroit improve to 37–12 on the season. Jalen Duren also recorded a double-double, finishing with 19 points and 13 rebounds.
For Denver, Jamal Murray paced the Nuggets with 32 points on 8-for-17 shooting. Nikola Jokić had a solid outing by his standards, posting 24 points and 15 rebounds.
