Ja'Kobi Gillespie led the Volunteers with 21 points on 7-for-19 shooting, along with 6 assists. The performance marked his tenth game this season with at least 20 points and helped Tennessee improve to 14–6 on the year. Nate Ament (19 points), J.P. Estrella (17 points), and Bishop Boswell (13 points) also scored in double figures for the Vols. Boswell added 10 rebounds to record his second double-double of the season.
For Georgia, Kanon Catchings and Marcus Millender led the way offensively. Catchings scored 22 points on 8-for-14 shooting, while Millender added 19 points on an efficient 8-for-10 from the field.
